Strengthening Cooperation Between the International Food & Food Technology Exhibition in Jordan and the Embassy of the Philippines to Enhance Filipino Participation

The management of the International Food & Food Technology Exhibition in Jordan visited the Embassy of the Republic of the Philippines in the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, where a productive meeting was held with Second Secretary and Consul Ms. Angelie A. Bayomo.

During the meeting, both parties discussed ways to strengthen mutual cooperation, particularly in supporting and increasing the participation of Filipino companies in the exhibition. This aims to expand commercial and investment opportunities between Jordan and the Philippines.

The discussion also addressed mechanisms to encourage the presence of Filipino companies and highlight their role in enriching the exhibition and enhancing diversity within the food industry sector and related food technologies.

For her part, the Embassy welcomed the initiative and expressed strong interest in actively participating in the fourth edition of the exhibition, reaffirming its commitment to supporting Filipino companies and strengthening economic and trade relations between the two friendly countries.

The Embassy also noted that the participation of Filipino companies in the third edition of the exhibition was highly successful and yielded positive outcomes in terms of cooperation and trade exchange.
